Title: Baby Oxygens!! Post by swimchica623 on May 29th, 2007, 5:47pm First off I debated exactly WHERE to post this so sorry if this is in the wrong spot.... But this is too happy of a post! Last summer, I nearly lost my swim coaching job, and barely got myself hired back this year. Figured everything would be okay, since I rarely get hit in the morning and practice is in the morning...except for these two weeks! Anyway, I got fed up with feeling tied down to home because o2 works better than ANYTHING and I have so many drugs with the CH and asthma combined...I am a total O2 junkie. One day at the health center at school I had some o2 given to me in a very small o2 tank, and a few days ago, the supplier delivered 6 of these cuties to my door! So I am off to coach now...my pool bag is filled with my cap, goggles, and towel, and my clustermask and a cute, fat, little o2 tank!!!! I have a plan of action figured out and the head coach, who I've known for a long time, knows that if I go to the said area, to keep the kids away and let me be for a few minutes. So I guess what I'm trying to say....even if you are an o2 junkie, get yourself some baby o2s (they last 20 minutes each) so you can be mobile and go do whatever the heck you want. ;;D Lisa (Edit: these two weeks are evening practice because kids are still in school...pre season sort of thing!) |

Title: Re: Baby Oxygens!! Post by Linda_Howell on May 29th, 2007, 7:24pm That's the rub. They last for one headache. MAYBE. But if that's all you need for what you're doing...that is great. Glad you got hired back. |

Title: Re: Baby Oxygens!! Post by mcf69 on Jun 2nd, 2007, 11:55pm Much more manageable than an E-tank and small enough to have a couple on hand if needed, ingenious Lisa, perfect for those who want to be out and about. Way to go for not letting the beast get the best of you! |
