Title: Oxygen Demand Valve Post by Ray on May 24th, 2007, 3:11am Hello Everyone: There were several of us on the "Chat" section in the wee hours of the night. I mentioned that I use a demand valve on my Oxygen. It works like a scuba regulator, in that the Oxygen only flows when you inhale. You receive 100% oxygen and no waste when you are not breathing in. I found the very one that I use on the web. All I can say is that it works well for me! http://www.madamedical.com/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=MM&Product_Code=1534MA The above link must be on one line in your browser without any spaces to work. http://www.madamedical.com/graphics/00000001/No.%201534MA%20.jpg So there you have it! Wishing you PF days and nights, Ray |

Title: Re: Oxygen Demand Valve Post by ClusterChuck on May 24th, 2007, 4:40am Several people here use that type systen, with excellent results. It is just too expensive, for small gain, in my mind, to go that route. I get good results with a standard regulator, and Ben's clustermasxTM. Glad it is working for you! Chuck |

Title: Re: Oxygen Demand Valve Post by Ray on May 24th, 2007, 12:30pm Thank you Chuck! It is expensive, as clicking on the link will show, however 2 boxes of Imitrex ampules costs more. It is all a matter of perspective. Whatever works! Wishing you PF days and nights, Ray |

Title: Re: Oxygen Demand Valve Post by Guiseppi on May 24th, 2007, 6:42pm I scored an old paramedic demand regulator and use my 02 the same way as you. I can abort a headache in about 8 minutes, using around 200 pounds from an E-Tank. Guiseppi |
