Title: Mixing Imitrex and O2 Post by billyjoe on May 19th, 2007, 2:45pm Hello, Newbe first post. I am wondering about success rates of mixing a little Imitrex and Oxygen. After reading a lot here, I started O2 and got my first success last night for my 9pm CH. Unfortunately, I was awakened for my usual 1am CH with a feeling of a certain kip 10 coming on. I was uncertain that O2 could handle this, nor did I think 3mg Imitrex could do the trick, so I did the full 6mg Imitrex and had relief after 15 minutes of kip 10 and got a decent night of sleep. So today, I’m walking around with a constant rebound headache. Is this the shadow everyone talks about? I’m sure it’s the Imitrex. Time to come up with another game plan. As an aside, I can’t help wondering if the O2 abort had anything to do with the kip 10 later. Probably not, but I thought the same thing about my experiment with melatonin that ended the same way. Anyways, I like my sleep and am thinking I’ll try the O2 for a mild 1am CH and if severe, I’ll do 3mg Imitrex and O2. Anyone have any luck or ideas on this? I guess I don’t have confidence in the O2 yet. ClusterMask is on order. Thanks! BIllyJoe |

Title: Re: Mixing Imitrex and O2 Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on May 19th, 2007, 3:39pm Hit the O2 hard and fast. Dont wait, dont second guess. For me, I hit the O2 immediately, but if the O2 is not working within 5 to 6 minutes, i take a shot......but keep on the O2. Make sure you are getting O2 at 12 to 15 litres. Welcome B$ |
