Title: ? O2 and leaving it in the truck is this OK Post by Samiam on Mar 18th, 2007, 11:32am Hi Guys and Gal, I wanted to go out today however it's quite cold in Philadelphia, PA. If I do go out I want to be able to take the O2 with me but I'm not sure if the cold will effect the O2. Can someone help me out? Is it OK to leave it in the truck while we go out? We will be in and out of stores. Sami |

Title: Re: ? O2 and leaving it in the truck is this OK Post by ClusterChuck on Mar 19th, 2007, 11:47am I leave a tank in my vehicle all year round (I am chronic). Even in the VERY hot summer, locked in a closed vehicle. No problems. The only minor problem in the winter, is the bag gets rather stiff, when left sitting in the freezing cold. But, after a few breaths, it warms up and works fine. Chuck |

Title: Re: ? O2 and leaving it in the truck is this OK Post by BarbaraD on Mar 19th, 2007, 6:13pm My kids are paranoid about O2, but I've carried it around, banged it, dropped it, left it in all types of weather and have yet to have a mishap. Now I don't smoke with it on (although some have - not a good idea). It's not as delicate as you've been led to believe. Take it with ya.... Hugs BD |
