ergotamine tartrate is the key ingredient in synthesizing LSD. You can't make LSD without it. Those old ergotamine tartrate meds were being used to make LSD so they're being illegalized.

These drugs are no longer significant as conventional meds to CH sufferers, but the ergotamine tartrate in them is a precursor to the most effective CH treatment.
