Title: This is too weird..... Post by BarbaraD on Mar 2nd, 2007, 10:34am My CH has definitely changed sides. Since the beginning I've been a leftie. Now the left side still shadows, but the hits are coming on the right side. This has been going on for several weeks. My left eye still closes, but the right one tears and the right nostril pours instead of the left. It's just plain weird to me. I still grab the left side and then it dawns on me - I'm doing it wrong. Guess old habits are hard to break. I know several of you have had this happen, but it just never happened to me before. Just one more wonderful thing about CH.... no rhyme or reason.... Hugs BD |

Title: Re: This is too weird..... Post by rossybabe on Mar 2nd, 2007, 11:15am HI BD!! When my CH changes sides it usually hurts a little less, maybe because it is used to hurt like hell on the right side and my left has no idea was is going on ::) hope it does the same to you!! Good Luck!! |

Title: Re: This is too weird..... Post by LeLimey on Mar 5th, 2007, 12:29pm Barb I've only ever had a couple of hits on the "wrong" side but they were awful in that all my coping mechanisms are set up for me to kick in on auto pilot and deal with the left side of my head. Trying to "think" of what to do when hit on the right was an added stress I didn't need and it made coping so much harder. I'm not sure the hit WAS worse but it certainly seemed it. I hate this condition, I swear it can think - nothing can be so insidious without working out just how it can hurt us most [smiley=huh.gif] ((HUG)) I hope it all settles back down for you soon Helen |

Before surgery, on floor screaming, but now, pain one third on left-side hits, a shower, or ice, or go outside as compared before. on 03/08/07 at 14:28:44, clusterwife wrote:
When it switches to right side, the difference is not readily noticable. I am confused about how this operation works now. |
