Title: CH hit times....... Post by taraann on Jan 24th, 2007, 9:41am Just curious what times you can actually count on a hit coming. For me it's multiple hits daily/nightly but the only actually time I can set my CH watch to is 3-330 am. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by floridian on Jan 24th, 2007, 10:20am For me, the prime time is 5:58 a.m. That occurs for a few days, then I get one about an hour and a half before that. As the cycle ramps up, they keep occurring earlier, and eventually I get them soon after laying down to sleep, and they spread into the waking hours. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by Kevin_M on Jan 24th, 2007, 10:35am Similar to Flo. When the prevent is undergunned, the first sign will be the early wake up call, and then followed by soon after laying down, progressing to through the night with daytime hits starting that is the sure sign for me prevent adjustment is needed, which can take time to be effective so I adjust after the second night of wake ups from sleep, to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. It eventually changes things just as the daytime hits start emerging, which can be a week. Reducing a prevent will let me know in about 48 hours the first signs if it was a mistake or not. I use sustained acting verap. Lots of different patterns for most but I seem most vulnerable early, early morning and then after laying down in the evening. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by nosnowmen on Jan 24th, 2007, 11:02am I get most of my hits during the day. When I get a night hit it is between 12:00 and 1:00 that I will wake up with a ripper. My day hits are all over the place as far as timeing. My night hits are the only ones that happen at the same time every time. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by midwestbeth on Jan 24th, 2007, 1:59pm Just when I think I and count on gettign a ch at 1:00pm, 8:00pm & 1:30am, my cycle changes and so does the timing of my ch. It seems the cycles last about a month or so, then the ch (kip and time of ch) changes. Anyone else experience this? |

Mine will come at fairly regular times for a few days, then change for a few days, and then change again. Shortly after going to sleep is pretty consistent. A few days ago I went 3 days where I only had 1 or 2 hits at night and none during the day. I even commented to my wife Monday that I thought I might be coming to the end of my cycle. That night I got hit at 10pm and 5am. Yesterday 11:30am, 9:30pm, 4:30am. Today 10:30am. I guess I jinxed myself! My first few cycles were like clockwork and I never had daytime hits. Unfortunately those days are long gone. Mark |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by Bond007 on Jan 24th, 2007, 4:25pm I've been chronic for the last year and 4 months and I can set my watch to hits @ 12:00 am, 7:00 am & 12:00 pm. If my 7:00 am hit doesn't happen, I'm typically ch-free until 4:00 pm, then they start ramping up. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by BB on Jan 24th, 2007, 6:14pm My husbands hits are always 3pm and 3 am, varying within 1 hour. During the peak of the cycle, he will also get hit at 8 am and 8 pm. It seems like the hits are generally 12 hrs apart, must be his circadian clock ... Annette |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by georgej on Jan 24th, 2007, 7:21pm I'm episodic, and get hit almost exclusively at night. No specific time, really, but almost invariably 90 minutes after falling asleep. Since I tend to stay up as long as possible when in cycle, this generally works out to be around 3:00 in the morning. Best, George |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by MJ on Jan 25th, 2007, 1:20am When in cycle I can count on being hit at all times. Every 2 hours is a pretty reliable benchmark. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by starlight on Jan 25th, 2007, 9:46am The night time is the right time for me. Pretty much I just got to be asleep and then they start usually 90 minutes after falling asleep. 2-6 per night. Occassional daytime hits but almost never in afternoon--morning or evening. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by Karla on Jan 25th, 2007, 1:13pm When I was actively getting hit I was able to set a clock to all 8 of my hits. They always came like clockwork. |

Mine were every 2-3 hrs for a long while....... and very clockable. Now they are so freaking random, other than the 3ish am hit. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by JeffB on Jan 25th, 2007, 4:36pm During my worst cycle. 10-11am 6-8 pm 2am..............this one never waivered, didn't matter ewhat time I went to bed. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by edbeek on Jan 26th, 2007, 5:12pm My predictable CH are 90 minutes after going to sleep at night. Last cycle was my first for daytime hits and they seemed to ramp up when I wound down from work. ie about 45 minutes into lunch break or at the end of the days work. Curiously, if I start work again as soon as I feel the first signs, it often won't develop any further while I'm working, but it eventually does when I relax again. |

Title: Re: CH hit times....... Post by olepi on Jan 29th, 2007, 3:01pm I am episodic, and have a regular procession. They last usually 3-4 weeks, and the first cpl weeks are very regular, about every 3-4 hours. This current batch I am having is at the end, so I am having one everyday around 4PM, and then all night long. I feel great going to bed, and then poof! I get one every time I fall asleep. I wake up, wait for it to go away, and go to sleep again, just to get another one. A week or two of this and then they typically are over for a year or so. |
