Title: Cell Phones And Cluster Headaches Post by artonio7 on Jan 8th, 2007, 12:29pm Just curious, and would like to conduct a small poll. How many CH sufferers use cell phones or cordless phones on a regular basis. I'm wondering if there's a connection between clusters and electro magnetic waves. I use both, a cell phone and a cordless and coincidentally my clusters started right after I got my first cell phone. |

Title: Re: Cell Phones And Cluster Headaches Post by mikezz on Jan 8th, 2007, 8:42pm Are you kidding ? If not, clusterheadaches have been around for a long time...way before cell phones. Perhaps the stress of what you are talking about on the phone triggers your clusters. |

Title: Re: Cell Phones And Cluster Headaches Post by artonio7 on Jan 8th, 2007, 10:44pm I guess what I was leading to was a discussion of the effect of electromagnetic fields with regards to triggering Cluster Headaches cycles. I'm not a scientist so I guess I'm reaching. I find it interesting however that there has been success in treating Migraine headaches with a Quick Intense Electromagnetic Field. I would NOT suggest you bathe with a plugged in toaster during a level 10 CH (Although I've been tempted to myself) but this therapy for ch might warrant some investigation. Here is a link if anyone is interested. Quick Intense Electromagnetic Field Stops Migraine (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/healthnews.php?newsid=45735) |

Title: Re: Cell Phones And Cluster Headaches Post by BobG on Jan 9th, 2007, 4:43pm Back in the days when I was employed at a power company my job included being in-under-around and within 15 feet of 500,000 volt transmission conductors, transformers, capacitors, reactors, etc. Did it almost every day for 35 years. Never caused a headache of any kind. Never caused any ache of any kind. I've been without a job for 7 months now still get CH attacks. |
