Title: They switched sides Post by mickey on Nov 27th, 2006, 2:56pm O.K. now I'm really messed up. I am about two months in to a cycle and I'm rotating imitrex, redbull, and o2 cant keep jabbing myself with trex seems like I get more headaches so I am rotating. o2 only works part of the time. redbull makes me sick to my stomach. nothing else works, until I tried the shrooms. They really seemed to help. so i thought. I tried them. nice ride cool colors. felt like shit the next day but noticed that the knot in my neck had reduced about 65% still had a headache and the pain was about70% less it was barrable. so I thought one more time ought to do the trick. and did it again. I went from having 4 to 5 headaches a day on my left side to none for about 5 days now all of a sudden I am starting to get about 2 a day on my right side. What the fuck did I just do ? this has never happened to me before did I just start another cycle ? I sure hope not my normal length is about 2 months and I was at the end. If I have got to go through another 2 months of this I will explode. my mind cant handle it nor my body nor my wife or kids, sombody help!!! |

Title: Re: They switched sides Post by roy21302 on Nov 27th, 2006, 3:34pm Mickey, Sorry your having a bad time of it at the moment In your posting you say that you have tried the shrooms, did you just suddenly try them whilst having recently used normal MEDs?? I don't know much about the shrooms track, but I think you have to spend some time off normal meds before you treat yourself with them. Hopefully one of the regular users of shrooms will come on soon to advise you. With regards the switching from one side of the head to the other this is quite common and occurs from time to time, it does not neccessarily mean your starting a new cycle or exstending your exsisting one. Hope someone can help you more soon, hope you get some P)F time soon Cheers Roy ;) |

Title: Re: They switched sides Post by Pinkfloyd on Nov 27th, 2006, 3:57pm Mickey, Sorry to hear they switched sides on you. That happened to me a few times, long before trying shrooms. Whether it was a natural switch or it was brought about by the treatment, I couldn't be sure. Sometimes changes like this (either while on regular meds or alternatives) are a good sign that things are changing. No one that I remember (out of hundreds) has ever started or triggered a new cycle with using shrooms, so I find it difficult to believe that they would have been responsible for ending one cycle and immediately triggering one on the opposite side. Did it make it switch sides? Possibly, but not likely IMHO. But, this is all my opinion as we are still learning a lot about this treatment. It could be that this is just how this cycle is going to end..move around looking for a new location to exist. Since you had such good luck with a couple doses, I would probably suggest waiting a few days and if things aren't getting better on their own (fading away on the new side) I would dose again. Feel free to ask any questions here or send an email/IM Good luck Bobw |

Title: Re: They switched sides Post by B14CK5H33P on Nov 28th, 2006, 10:18am Ch has no rhyme nor reason. I was right side only for 8 years, then in 1995 they switched sides. My neuro at MHNI said they can do that. From my experience, the beast likes to morph alot. Peace, Carl D |
