Post by hunted on Oct 19th, 2006, 4:39pm
Ok here it is in a nut shell I have had migraines for several years. They are getting worse last 17 years I have had some sort of migraines 24/7 all the specialists with in 100 miles do is MRIs, pain meds. and charge $250.00  or more per visit. In Dec. all money I have runs out so does insurance. I also had a knee replacement go bad so leg does not work. No one wants to hire me will not be able to get insurance after Dec. They are so bad on right side that I go deaf in that ear 4-6 months per year, I lose total balance without warning, can't breath sometimes or see durring parts of attack. Can't get soc. security cause I don't see doctors often enough to prove problem (I just paid off 4 years worht of hospital bills from migraines and leg can't afford doctors unless life or death) pain so bad I can't sleep. Life insurance runs out in one year. I don't want charity I want releif from this pain I have had some sort of pain all my life but theses migraines are the last that I can handle. Does anyone know anything that can help me? please

I don't have personal experience to help you, but here is a good migraine info source to get you started.  This has been a helpful site to many headache sufferers.

Welcome aboard.  Please pardon my confusion but your post has a lot of mixed messages.

What kind of work do you do?  Was your insurance part of a separation package?

Did the Dr tell you what causes you to go deaf, lose your balance, and have trouble breathing?

What kind of documentation did you need for SS, and would that be for knee, headaches, or something else?

Why are you hunted?
