Like I said it before, I'll say it again,

I DID NOT say it'll cure your CH. I said it helps. I'm not selling the stuff I'm just sharing info. I'm just using it because it helps. I'll use anything that helps! Even if it just relieves the tension in my neck while I'm having the attack!!
But it seems you guys are the experts......

It seems the reason you get these headaches is because you are so nasty and all knowing and if you are so all knowing why don't you find a cure for these things instead of chirping.....
You tell me what works.....
In any case if you want to be nasty, pick a finger!

Alain, if you have sincere tips, please email Mrs. Deej who is puttling together a permanent thread on tips.

i'm sorry.  I had to comment because I read part of a post that mentioned green rooiboos and  i thought rooiboo was red.

But that is for Mrs Deej to mull through and put in her thread.

::) hi Charlotte,

you are the first person with a descent remark, thanks!

As I'm typing this to you this thing is grinding me. I've actually just downed a Red Bull and sprayed the stuff on my neck, which tenses up tremendously when I have an attack. Yes I am sincere and no I do not sell the stuff as many think. I do not understand why everybody raves about something as simple as coffee & Red Bull, but anything else mentioned is believed to be rubbish or a sales gimmic.

Any ways I'm going to suffer in silence........................

coffee and red bull will be in mrs deej's thread, also.  She is working on it.  It is a new thing.

If you have a tip, please email her.

Most of us are overwhelmed with all the reading when we get here.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome Alain, Are you saying that this stuff (resque mist spray) helps the headache by relieving the neck pain and tightness of the neck mucsle thus helping the headache?

Hi there, :)

yip, With my attacks my whole neck from behind my right ear to my lower neck tensions up. The spray relieves the tension, it actually relaxes you, if I dare say so, taking some of the intensity of the attack away. But that's my opinion and it might not do anything for somebody else.

I have read in other threads about the "knot" in the back of our neck and or head and I think of mine as a tension knot. For this I always did ice and massage, but that was all I knew to do, but I guess I would do anything to stop the pain!! :-[

Hey I guess that I too should just read and not post [smiley=huh.gif], and yes this COULD hurt someones feelings :-/ the way that some get treated here but... I can say for myself that while trying to deal with these headaches I have done some things that were not quite the norm. And as my doctors has said, this is how most of these preventatives were discovered, by other folks taking it for different reasons, only to find that it works for another. :-[ I thought that this was a good place but I feel like a person has to stay on guard around here, for fear of saying the wrong thing. Well, I guess it's back to being alone in my own little "Clusterworld" :'(

I see that you are new here so I will not say what I really want to say about your post.   You have to understand Jobette...this guy is about the one millionth person coming to this site with outrageous claims  and absolutely nothing to back them up.

Those of us who have done the research, have been there and done that, and seen these kind of people come and go....really get sick of it after a while.

Have you noticed that he has deleted his original post?

I wonder why.  This place is one of friendship, support, information(valid) and a place to vent to caring people.

We are not here to cater to every half-baked theory because someone who has just now found this place insists upon it.

Jobette,
Sorry.  I absolutely do not want to create a hostile environment-but I want you to think about this-if you knew that someone was selling BS, and you knew that there were desperate people who might buy it instead of trying things that have some proven benefit-that those people might spend their money on illusions and spend more time in pain-would you feel some kind of responsibility to say something-anything-to address it?  Hey, to each his or her own-but I guarantee that spraying smelly stuff on your neck or pillow is probably not going to affect your hypothalamus.  Know how I know?  Jobette-I have had these stupid headaches for 25 years and I have tried everything.  Should I keep it to myself?  Okay.
Please forgive me for creating a hostile environment-I really didn't intend to do that.

Kathy, I guess here's the thing, I didn't know it then, but I sure do now, know that I have been dealing with these for about 22 yrs or so. And back then I had no one, not even the doctors that could or would help me. But I did find out that I was a woman and these don't happen to women. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on what THEY said would help, to no avail. Then I found this place and some of the things that were recommended here (oxygen) have help to save my sanity. I may be new to this site, but I sure am not new to the dance of the beast. I don't want to cause friction in Clusterville, because I am still looking and hoping for something to beat this thing with. The thing is that I DON'T know who is who and who knows what about this thing. And mine seems to be mophing on me and I am trying to help myself. Some of the stuff that the drs give and have given me makes me so sick AND it doesn't work either so I guess that makes me almost desperate. Please, all I want to do is get some help and relief and hopefully help somebody. I guess my sense of humor is leaving with my sanity. Sorry! Blame the beast, he has been f#@$ing with me since the middle of June, and I am not asking for pity, but I do need help, and I have a pretty good neuro, but she is grasping at straws too. As always I will try and do better. Jobette

Jobette,
I am so sorry you are going through this, I really hate it when the beast morphs and what once worked doesn't any more.  I really and truly apologize also to all the sincere members, guests and, well, God, for being such a critical snide B.  Its not usually my personality, but I really am tired of seeing people taken for a ride and I might be getting cynical.  Think I will back away from the keyboard til my head settles and I can respond in a way that is encouraging, helpful or at least intelligent.
PFDAN y'all,
kathy
