Title: SophiaK - you ok? Post by Margi on Sep 21st, 2006, 1:41pm Has anyone seen Sophia online since the night she made this post (and a couple of others) to the Chicken Pox thread? "Into my 9th month of daily Head pain. It's not easy to maintain a positive outlook. I start Inderal tomorrow, will let you all know what if anything changes. If not, I have my next step planned. " This still worries me. Sophia, if you're out there, please let us know how you're doing? Margi |

Title: Re: SophiaK - you ok? Post by nani on Sep 21st, 2006, 1:44pm Don't worry, hon. Her next step was a treatment plan, I think. I'll find her number and give her a call. |

Title: Re: SophiaK - you ok? Post by SophiaK on Sep 22nd, 2006, 3:11pm I am overwhelmed, you all are so caring. I'm still here and I wish I could say the inderal was doing something great, it's not. Which is why I haven't said anything about it so far. I am still going to continue unitl I've given it 2 full weeks, then I will go onto something else. Forgive me Nani for not getting back to you right away, I will be talking to you soon. Just wanting to keep it all together. I made a list of the scrips I've taken since December, what a list. I did get another brand of melatonin and it seems to be working better, I don't get through a whole night but will increase the dosage soon and see what happens. I am taking 5-htp and it helps to keep my tongue more civil. It's supposed to work with the seritonin and I've got to say I deffinately see a difference in my attitude, it's supposed to help sleep also. Eric, it would be nice to see you. It would be good. Now to the hot pack. Love to all, S |

Title: Re: SophiaK - you ok? Post by Margi on Sep 22nd, 2006, 4:18pm Good to hear from you Sophia! You might want to try Benadryl or Dramamine to help you sleep. Sometimes, if melatonin won't work, one of these other two will help you find some sleep. Keep us posted and thanks for checking back in. :) Margi |

Title: Re: SophiaK - you ok? Post by SophiaK on Sep 23rd, 2006, 11:45am Margi, I have them all, Advil PM, Tylenol PM, Benadryl, Melatonin, some Ambien. The problem with Melatonin is the freaky dreams, that being said I still seem to sleep more soundly in between hits, could be just exhaustion. I'm not giving up, but I am weary. I would love to have one day without pain, just to see what it's like. Have a good one all. |
