I have been reading a lot of posts on Red Bull and figure its worth a shot.

Tonight I am going to drink a Red Bull at first sign of a cluster.

Usually I grab a maxalt but am going for the red bull tonight to see what works.

Is Red Bull definitly an abortive rather then a preventative?

You'll find 99% of people use it as an abortive

I think it is worth a try to drink a red bull during the night attacks as soon as I feel one coming on. How fast should I drink it and how fast should it work?

You've got to neck it quickly as possible as soon as you feel the first sign of a CH coming.. If it works it should kill the CH within 5-10 mins.

Redbull dosen't always work for me. If im going to get a full blown CH then the only thing for me is an Imigran jab.

If however its only a mild CH, ie: KIP 4 or lower a can of redbull has got rid of them for me.

Other people though swear by redbull for all attacks, just like all meds, they differ with different people.

Red Bull is my abortive. So far, it has aborted all the hits I've had since I begun to try it.

Taurine really works for me!!!
I have been using "Max Velocity" that was on sale for $1 a can and it works just as good as Red Bull.....

Unbelieveable, backfired on me last night.

11:15pm and I took one, all hell broke lose and then too late for Maxalt and sat on living room floor in constant pain!!!

I have been drinking 2, one at the first sign of shadows and the second about 5 min after the 1st. I think it at least keeps the CH from escalating out of control for me. Hang in there.

Its very interesting that it seems drinking Red Bull really really fast will work better than when drinking it slowly.

Wonder why? I thought the rate of absorption through the gut wouldnt change that much depending on how fast it is swallowed?
