Title: Re: Upset Stomach--Diarhea Post by Bond007 on Aug 29th, 2006, 12:03pm From the Maxalt website, they listed clinical trials of over 3700 patients who suffered adverse reactions of diarrhea & vomiting at a rate of at least (>) 1/100 patients. So, yes, it could very well be the Maxalt that's causing your digestive problems. Check out www.maxalt.com for more information on Maxalt. |

Title: Re: Upset Stomach--Diarhea Post by Bond007 on Aug 29th, 2006, 2:36pm Has your doc even suggested a preventative course of meds for you yet? You should really discuss that with your doc. I'd be seriously concerned about taking all those vasoconstrictors in a day's time, not to mention over a period of several days. I do feel your pain, brother. I had my first hit when I was 19, and have been episodic ever since. I'm now 38 and I just diagnosed with CH last month. This current cycle started in October 2005, and is either going into remission or is finally controlled with daily preventatives. The Maxalt is not supposed to be used as a preventative, but as an abortive and definitely not as frequently as you are using it. I really do wish you the best of luck, bro! I'll be praying for you and wishing that you get some PFDAN's! |
