The past several days, I've been getting hit left and right and I haven't had a good night's sleep in days. I was really hoping that last night just might be the night that I might make it through without being woken up by the Beast. Well, sometime around 2:00 am this morning, I'm sleeping soundly when all of sudden I feel a hand on my forehead, then on my chest, then covering up my nose and mouth. At first I thought I was dreaming. Then I woke up with start as my wife was trying to roll me over on my back. Apparently, she woke up and was scared that I'd died during the night because I hadn't woken up with a CH attack and my breathing had become so light and shallow.

UGH! I just can't win!!!! If the Beast isn't waking me up, it's my wife thinking I'm dead!!!! Heaven help me!

Haven't had anyone check to see if I was dead yet. I guess they figure that if I am, it will be apparent soon enough.

Could be worse, I suppose. She could have stuck you with a pin.

Hope things improve soon. Hate to see people getting slammed.

Too funny. When I've gone several days without sleep I ban my family from waking me up unless there is a life-endangering emergency going on. I've never had anyone check to see if I was still alive though.

Well, I actually didn't find it overly funny at the moment. However, when I came into work this morning, our HR manager (her son also suffers from CH) asked if I a good night and I told about what happened. She just about fell over with laughter. That was the first time I realized just how funny it really was! [smiley=crackup.gif]

That's funny. I really thought that was going somewhere else as I was reading. Hook up a heart monitor for your wife to watch.

She could always do "THE STARE" You know when you wake out of a sound sleep with that creepy feeling someone is watching you? My dog enjoys doing that. Really though, I hope you can continue to get a full nights sleep.

Thanks bro! I'm very hopeful that tonight's the night. I've had very LIGHT shadowing today with no real hits breaking through. The Beast seems to be calming down today. I'm praying that's a good sign!!!! ::)
