Title: Mobic Question
Post by sailpappy on Aug 16th, 2006, 5:52am
;;DHas anyone had any luck with "Mobic"?  I have never taken this medication and considering that Prednisone Therapy failed, well I'm wondering if any of the Family members have had any success with this non-steroidal anti-inflamitory?  My new VA Neurologist mentioned this and Botox injections.
Nerve blocks with xylocaine didn't work so I'm thinking Botox would be another non productive experiment!         John

I've heard of Mobic....it's a med used to treat osteoarthritis.    A friend of mine took it.   She had problems with it as far as alot of swelling, and some gastro problems.   Of course, that doesn't mean you'd have the same problems.  I'm a firm believer that meds work and affect each of us differently.

Not sure of the botox....seems like someone here did the botox.

;;D   As you can see, I was no help at all!   :-/   ;;D

Pappy, I cannot comment on this Mobidick but if you search the old posts, there are quite a few on Botox and it seems that your assumption on it is correct.
