Title: Chronic Headache Investigation In Southampton
Post by Daniel_S on Aug 10th, 2006, 6:32am
Hi Everybody,

My name is Daniel Schoth, and I am an MSc Health Psychology student studying at the University of Southampton (in England). For my research project, I am currently evaluating the ways in which chronic headaches influence individuals attention.

I am posting here in the hope that some of you may be able to participate in my research study, which will take 45 minutes of your time. The study involves a 30 minute computer task (which is really easy to complete), followed by 10-15 minutes of questionnaires. It is my hope that the results of this research will one day assist in the identification of headache patients who also suffer from anxieties associated with their headaches, and hence assist in the treatment process.

I am in desperate need of participants, and would be extremily grateful if any of you who live in the Southampton area could assist me. My email address is as follows:

Des205@soton.ac.uk

Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this post,

Daniel Schoth

I'll help if I may.  I'm a male, 36, with chronic cluster headaches.  I had TN surgery 2 yrs. ago on left side, so far a sucess, nothing is for sure. I still get hits and shadows, just not as acute.  Email me and I'll help all that I can, thankyou, kevin p.

Daniel I suggest you contact OUCH UK (http://www.clusterheadaches.org.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl)
They can inform members in your region of your survey.
You might also want to consider contacting Migraine Action (http://www.migraine.org.uk/)

Hope that helps
