I came across this article talking about migraine sufferers having higher libido levels. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/536468
Migraine Associated With High-Normal Sex Drive
It interested me seeing as how clusters are usually associated with screwy serotonin levels-----What do you guys think?

This has been discussed before. I believe that the general consensus was that many of us tend to have higher than normal sex drives.

Not when in the middle of a bad CH attack! I also doubt that people with migraines have much of a desire for sex when they are getting hit-maybe later, like us, but not during an attack. :'(

I've heard of Tennis elbow George, never really worked out what it was until just now though!

Being that this "condition" is a "man's-thing" are we at all surprised that the higher than normal sex drive issue is discussed? Don't ALL men have higher than normal sex drives?!? LOL

It was discussed at convention. It seems that people with migraine have more sex than "normal" people. Both male and female, and people with CH have even higher sex-drives than those with migraine. It has nothing to do with aborting or wanting sex while getting hit. It is nothing more than an interesting statistic.

If you want to keep your drive, stay away from Inderal.

It's interesting that this all came about because of the sexual problems people were having while on anti-depressants. (too much serotonin). So would this mean that the shrooms (which supposedly increase serotonin and keep it that way for a while) would actually decrease peoples libido? There's a study you probably wouldn't have trouble getting participants for----Sex and drugs!!!

Im not sure if this has anything to do with Libido, but the other night, my wife and I were having sex, and the beast attacked me right after the big "O" [smiley=frown.gif] Now shes worried that sex may not be an option when im in cycle :'(

Takes inderal LA in the a.m. You can still take "short drives" (Looks at floor and shuffles feet)

I'll rephrase that one. I stay away from Inderal, although it worked ok in some ways. It knocked 8 back to 6 for me.

Exactly. I'll take a pair of 6's over an 8 anytime. Then you can knock it down some from there.

Hmmmmm, I dunno, I do think there's some truth to the "pleasure/pain" principle..... :o

Not that I have to like, but a 5-6 hasn't stopped me yet. ;)
