Title: Coming out of cycle?
Post by Garys_Girl on Jul 15th, 2006, 12:39pm
Hubby's never had CH cycles that were identifiable before - the hits were always sporadic (though frequent) so never diagnosed.  This year they were so obviously clustered that we finally figured it out.

The cycle began March 4.  He hasn't had a pf moment - always some level of shadows.  2 weeks ago, the level of hits started slowing - just a couple a day, not as strong, and not as long.  This past week, he's continued to have shadows of varying intensity, but hits aren't every day.  Did have a bad one when he got dehydrated - but even it only lasted like 20 minutes.

He starts to feel like he's getting hit in the evenings, but a double espresso pulls it back to shadows.

He's also had a number of false hits - all the symptoms, but no attack.

Is this what it's like when you come out of cycle?  Or is that - like everything else - totally individual, and we have no way of knowing if this is going to ramp back up or (please God) go into complete remission at some point?

I pray he's coming out of cycle and this current nightmare will end soon!

Thanks for any info,

Laurie

Thanks again for supporting, our supporters help us maintain our sanity. You're right, we're all a little different, but what you're describing is how my cycles end. Have seen a lot of other people say the same, it slowly ramps back down. Prayers for a loooong remission!

Laurie-
I think we all are different.  It seems that when my cycle ends, it just ends.  One day it's there and then I suddenly notice that it's not.  It does slow down, I just can't tell when it will leave until it just does.

Thanks - but of course as soon as I wrote anything, the hits ramped back up.  He had a bad one last night that we couldn't bust with anything.

God this is an awful affliction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
