Title: Has anyone had testing done while Post by moonhoney2 on Jun 29th, 2006, 12:19pm in the throes of a CH? Like a cat scan or MRI? Something that shows the activity of the brain? Just curious what the results were, if any. |

Title: Re: Has anyone had testing done while Post by LeeS on Jun 29th, 2006, 1:28pm Yep. I know one or two people who helped contribute to this study; very bravely by being induced by nitro :o http://www.ouch-us.org/chgeneral/hypothalamus/hypothalamus2.htm Research in this respect has seemed to slow down a bit though recently, although Prof. Goadsby is actively seeking brains, if anyone is interested (following demise of course)? ::) -Lee |

Title: Re: Has anyone had testing done while Post by unsolved1 on Jun 29th, 2006, 7:59pm My local neuro is also a sleep specialist. He had me do a sleep study to see if I had sleep apnea. As soon as I stepped foot into the place ... I had a major attack. I went straight into the bathroom and gave myself a 'jab'. I finally hooked up to all the wires after the attack. If only the attack would've happened 30 minutes later, it may have been interesting to see if there were changes. [smiley=huh.gif] :-/ Too bad. No doctors have ever asked me if they could induce an attack. UNsolved |
