Post by She-ra_mommy on Jun 20th, 2006, 4:45pm
I am starting IV histamin (sorry world wordiest speller) 3 days a week. I will start O2 thearpy as soon a y tank can be delivered. I tried dhe nothing happened, Indomicacin did nothing have same headache for 14 weeks. They feel it a form of cluster. I should notice some majoir change in 2 week from first treatment if it is going to work that was Monday.

If this does not work They are doing A spinal tap.

I've got to ask.  What would they be doing a spinal tap for?

Linda -- they did a spinal tap on me before I was diagnosed -- to rule out something else. Along with about 2 million other tests before they gave me to "good" news that it was CH!

Get the O2 going She-r . It's been a lifesaver for so many of us. You might also want to pick up a few cans of Red Bull. Quick fix along with the O2.

Hope something works soon....

Hugs BD

Yikes - a Spinal tap (not the band) sounds horrible and painful.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when the 02 is delivered, it will in turn deliver you from pain.

Spinal headaches present differently than CH and a spinal tap may cause spinal headaches.

If a spinal tap is being used they would be looking for something else not clusters. I havent been here lately and must have missed something.
