Title: point a to point b w/ Zomig Post by clusterkat on Jun 11th, 2006, 1:06pm summer greetings my friends, let me first say that i follow all the struggles, triumphs and information @ ch.com weekly. and everyone here has my heartfelt understanding and sympatatco sympathy. ~blue eyes smile~ i have ran that gammit of rx for relief like everyone here. and here i go again.....<sigh> after a breif ch remission (3 months), the monster returned this jagged searing eye tearing right sided face pain. so back to the md i go for: >100 mg topamax daily. 50 in am, 50 in pm, *be prepared to loose appitite completely >2.5 mg zomig ZMT (disolves on tongue) *cut my attack in 5 minutes :) >5.mg zomig nasal spray *no experience with it yet the reason im trying the zomig triptians is the lower miligram of triptians, the imatrex didnt work for me long term cause of the side effects. but what does? im running out of options. we do whatever it takes to get from point a to point b, to survive. hopeful, zomig newbie @>--- ps 4 years with ch, due to info & this site the past two have been easier, many thanx kat |

Title: Re: point a to point b w/ Zomig Post by Capt_Deb on Jun 12th, 2006, 3:06pm As I was filing my prescription reciepts today I can across my Zomig nasal info you get with the meds. It says it should not be used for cluster headaches. Does your doc or pharmacist know this? Capt Deb |

Title: Re: point a to point b w/ Zomig Post by clusterkat on Jun 17th, 2006, 7:14pm Deb, the reason zomig nasal spray isnt recomended for cluster headaches is it isnt cost effective. my 6 doses @ 170.00 were 35.00 after insurance. that could mount up or not be an option at all for some. thanx for the concern kat |
