hi eveyone
i have had these headaches for 7 years and have turned into a depressed man. I am glad i found this place. I have read your stories and can relate to most of them.

i have tried all the drugs out there.
is there anyone who has tried something other than the regular drugs that can help!!!

i cant handle going to sleep anymore please help if you can

Hi Larry, welcome.

When you say you've tried all the drugs out there what do you mean by all. Preventatives? Abortives?

About regular drugs..........there are no regular drugs for cluster headaches. All the meds used for clusters are made for something else, migraines, blood pressure, seizures, steriods and more.

There are some alternative treatment such as kudzu, mushrooms. Have you tried oxygen?

Let us know. there's a lot of very wise folks here.

If you get a chance, do up a list of the meds you've tried. Give us all a chance to read it and maybe help you out.

If you are scared of going to sleep, try melatonin. It can eliminate night time hits.
