I am trying to understand!! People have said just men get clusters can anyone tell me why people are saying this??

It's a myth. I am not sure how it got started, but clearly not true.

I'm a woman with clusters also. Go figure ...

I tend to think that more women than men get blown off by docs who say we have migraines or tension HA's rather than clusters.

You'll meet many female sufferers here. BTW - we're a great group of gals!

Don't believe that some say - women do get ch!

According to the neuro who diagnosed me, men get ch more often than women. And Kris is right, many women get a wrong diagnosis when some docs belive in the myth as well.

You've got bunch of great clustersisters right here. :)

It's an old myth that women don't get clusters. We're in the minority (about 25% I think), but trust me -- what I have is definitely CH.

Don't let a doc disc on you about that one.

It is true it's a myth. There are so many characteristics that have been labeled on cluster sufferers, you think people would be working more on relief for the patients. I even read where cluster headache victim's skin "resembles that of an orange peel"
W T F?????
Anyways, I've never met you but since you are cursed with the CH demon, I know (as well as the rest of the female sufferers) you are one of the strongest women out there!!!!

Hi I am also a women who suffers from cluster headache and I actully know 2 other women, so its not true may be we are the minority but we can deffo get them.

Has anyone ever seen someone with orange peel skin?

I have acne and after a sweating spell, my pores are big, but even then my skin doesn't look like orange peel.

I saw a hobo when I was a kid and he had facial skin the likes of an orange peel. SSScary.
Women only get meeegraines...LOL ;;D
I get both they both suck. CH hurts worse faster.
Migraine hurts less longer. Hurts. Ow, Ow, Ow
