Hello everyone.

I wish I could say I was happy to be here. Honestly though...everytime I see these baby blue pixels (or is it more of a sea foam green) on my screen, it's a pretty good indication I'm living the nightmare again.

I got pretty lucky last year with only one real 'banger'. The Topomax kept the beast at bay all summer. It seems to be ineffective so far this year though and same goes for the Immitrex. I'm still on the 100mg tablets which used to kick in after about 10-15 minutes. Now I'm not getting any relief even after an hour with it. At that point desperation kicks in and I'm reaching into the old stores of leftover Vioxx samples. I know, I know...the stuff's bad but we've all been to the point where we'd do absolutely anything to make it go away and that's where I've been the past few days. Popping pill after pill, trying different combinations, dosages (stop me if you've heard this one before, lol).

Anyway...I'm back, hopefully not for long. Any new earth shattering developments/treatments in the past year that I may have missed?

Did the CHATS system get up and running, and if so can I get an account?

Good to hear from you too! I didn't recognize any of the names on here and wasn't sure if any of the 'old timers' (from my era that is) were still around.

I don't have any Eastern travel plans arranged as yet but a friend of mine is moving out there the end of this month (crap, that's next week already). I may be involved with the logistics of that. I'll be sure to get in touch if I'm out there.

Any word from Kim lately?
