Title: Wierd and Scary
Post by aprilbee on Apr 20th, 2006, 9:15am
Okay, here's the story...my cycle is starting, all the usual signs, slight shadows and dizziness, so saw my neuro yesterday....he was very concerned about the vertigo, did the usual follow my finger tests, looked in my right eye then spent a lot of time in my left eye and did the follow my finger test AGAIN (that has never happened).  He's now screaming for an MRI, and I'm kinda freaked out, so now I'm going for my MRI and I'm totally scared, this has never happened before, the usual tests weren't usual.... [smiley=huh.gif]

just needed to vent a little....thanks!

I don't know how bad the vertigo is, but hubby gets dizzy sometimes too, and he's had MRIs and CT scans out the wazoo over the past few years.  Hopefully your Doc is just being cautious.

Sending vibes that all is well!

Keep us posted,

Laurie

When are you going for MRI?  Doc couldn't be TOO worried if he didn't want you in there right away.

Hangin' in there?  Between fear of going to a meeting and fear of going to sleep, CH sufferers by default become pros at managing fear.  This is just a new one to add to the list.  ;)  And maybe look at it this way - if there IS a problem (which we doubt), unlike with CH, just about anything they might find on an MRI is TREATABLE.  Just as with CH, just keep taking one day at a time.    [smiley=hug.gif]

Sending another round of be well vibes!

Laurie
