Title: Vent time for me...... Post by BarbaraD on Apr 18th, 2006, 4:56pm Bob G is RIGHT - never relax.... Tax season is over (or at least the biggest part) - I'm chronic so I've been having headaches all thru the season, but nothing I couldn't handle. Today - the first day of relaxation from the BIG STRESS.... and WHAM.... I get a 10 right off..... Right now I'm on cafergot... Did I mention I HATE PAIN!!! Yeah, I have a high threshold for it, but I HATE PAIN!!!! Luckily Caleb is taking his nap right now and Homer (our adopted doggie - 50 pound mutt) is having a "good doggie" day. I explained to Homer that on days like this he'd better have a good doggie day or ELSE!!! I think he understands. Anyhow I think I need to get me a good stressful project (like getting busy on building my house -- the barn is finished). That is guaranteed to stress anybody out.... Thanks for listening -- I just needed to vent. My family just rolls their eyes when I complain around them. (Mom's little headaches you know!) Hugs BD |

Title: Re: Vent time for me...... Post by MJ on Apr 18th, 2006, 8:13pm "What dont kill ya makes you stronger" "Stay stressed never relax ever" Two of the best tag lines ever. Kind of humorous in their truth. Long ago I found the value of stress on CH. I went from Full time CH to stress creation overdrive. Now back to 14 hour work days and happily stressed. Of course It will take 2 years and 40 people to deal with my stress quest over the past month or so. Now I just have to reach the full CH denial stage and I am good. |

Title: Re: Vent time for me...... Post by NotH20 on Apr 19th, 2006, 9:11am Barbara, I feel your pain all too well - our office was closed yesterday for a day of R&R - wake up with a ch - get a shot......later yesterday morning - snorting the O2 - UGH!!!!!! Stress or relaxation doesn't really make a difference with me - I just get them no matter what during my cycle. Sorry your day started off that bad, but hopefully you were able to enjoy some pain free time after you ran the beast off. Stay strong and stressed! ;) Mia |

Title: Re: Vent time for me...... Post by superhawk2300 on Apr 20th, 2006, 8:53pm I respect the crap outof you chronics! I CAN imagine what it would be like and no sir, I don't like it! If I ever went to a bar where they were having some sort of Fear Factor contest and long term pain was involved I'd be like "bet on the chronic clusterhead to win". Be Pain Free. Jamey |
