hi my name is Bobby and i am new here i have had cluster head aches for about 12 years now and i am glad i have found a place where people know what i go through. i do have some questions so i will go find the right place to put them.

Hi Bobby this is a good place to start with any question you have so fire away! You'll soon get the hang of which board is which but in the meantime tell us a bit more about you and your experiences - what meds you've tried, what worked and didn't work etc and we'll see what we can suggest to help you.

Are you episodic or chronic?

Hey Bobby I am glad you found us and yet sorry to hear that you are one of us. Fire away with the questions the site can take a little getting use to and dont let anyone scare you off we are an aquired taste.

thanks for the warm welcome let me try to answer some of the questions i have been asked.....I am episodic and i have never found anything to help untill a week ago, imitrex stat dose 6mg. i have been on all kinds of meds like steroids, blood pressure medication, and vicodin. as far as the names of the meds i am not sure, i have ate excedrin migrain like tic tacs and have even used that head on stuff [ i hate those commercials] but for the most part i have just fought the ch beast by my self.

Hi Bobby,

Welcome to the club. I'm sad to see you here but glad you found us. You and I have a similar history. I'm just recently diagnosed after 12 years of fighting the beast. I too relied almost exclusively on excedrine migraine. Funny how we all seem to find our way to caffeine ;;) Anyway, welcome and don't stop reading and asking questions. There are a lot of helpful folks around here.
