Well, I don't know where to begin. My name is Stacy and I am 28 yrs old. I have been having what I now know as cluster headaches, since I was 11 years old.

I am greatful for finding this web site. I really thought I was going crazy. Now I know I am not the only person who feels this way. I was reading the messages posted on the board last night and for the first time in years I felt as if I may be okay.

For years I have been a guinea pig for various doctors and nurses. I have been on every med you can imagine. Nothing works and the ones the do I am allergic to (i.e. imitrex, all triptans, morphine, dauldid, asprin, haloperadol). I have been on most of the blood pressure meds, they always seem to drop my blood pressure to dangerous levels. I have been poked with needles more times than I could ever count. I get traeted like a junkie by almost everyone who knows me. When I go to hte er they refuse to treat me, it is all very frustrating.

I have three kids and a husbans and I think they get the worst end ofit. I am always yelling or sleeping. I have lost various jobs and been denied SSI.

I don't know where I am going with all of this, it just feels good to get it off my chest.

Hi Stacy, true your not alone,but don't give up.For some o2 works for quite a few I'm not one of them but it works for many people.Keep reading these people are very informative I'm new here myself but not new to CH been getting them for 28 years [smiley=mad.gif] not fun good luck, hope you can break your cycle and have many pain free days .Hang in there

Hi Stacy.

Like Mr Floor, I'm new to this site (only found it this year). I am also not new to CH (40year)

All the meds you mention seem to be aborts. Shame you are alergic to imetrix as that is a miracle abortive. Get to see a neuro and find a preventative. Read this site day and night, it is a fantastic family.

Welcome to the board, this will start to sound like a broken record cuz so many of us use it but have you tried oxygen yet? Almost no side effects and works to abort for many on the board.
