hi everyone im new trying to see if ne one has the same problems i have with my headaches :) some people that i talk to say its a cluster, some say its a migraine didnt know wich topic to post it in so just stuck it in the cluster specific one. everyone seems real nice so just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

Hi lynny. Welcome. Tell us more about your HAs. Where is the pain, how long they last, etc.

glad to meet you, sorry its under these circumstances.

Tell us about your symptoms, particularly the length of the headache and what you do when you have one.

ie do you lye down or pace back and to . .

what meds have you tried and have they been any use ?

yes i am in new mexico :). and the pain for my headaches last for one full day at least i go to the er they shoot me up with something i sleep for 2 days and then have a headache for about 2 more but the pain for that i can deal with. The pain just feels like a knife is being stabbed in my head, That's the best way i can describe it. When i have one i just sleep cause i cant talk or read or ne thing im like a vegtable, i have tried imatrex but it doesnt help me being a vegtable part.

Does the pain stay on one side? Does it last the whole day, or come and go? Can you lie down during the intense pain?

Cool im in Hobbs :) once i get a headache the pain is there to stay for about 4 days and its usually not just one side, i don't know if i can sleep i panic when i have one cause it scares me that i cant remember my moms name,phone number, or anyone elses phone number for that matter,talk or think.. so i just go to the er everytime

Have you seen a neurologist that specializes in headaches? I'm not sure about your part of the state, but we have very few good neuros in NM. It may require a trip to Albq, Las Cruces or El Paso.
Your symptoms don't quite fit "typical" CH symptoms, but you'll need a more specific diagnosis in order to get the right treatment no matter what they are.
