.Hello im young, new and kinda confused

Hi my name is Susie im 19 years old female and from the Uk i was told yesterday that i was suffereing from cluster headaches and had my blood tests today.

Im currently taking Diclofenac, why do i need soduim tablets?

Also they have changed my contraceptive pill to a different one due to risks of stroke

I get pains but nothing like i have read of your poor suffereing im scared does it get worse

First of all, don't panic. Clusters are not life threatening and although are annoying and painful, you will endure

Secondly, what are your symptoms?

Third, the true cause of clusters are still a mystery so no one really knows why certain types of treatment work for different people. I am using sea-salt and hoping for results.

For better answers on meds, check out the links on the left hand side of your screen where it says 'medical info' as for the pain, check out the link that says 'the kip scale'. As for it getting worse, each headache is different, some will be more painful than others. I find the worst ones come at the end of a cycle, but again, that is just me. Chin up. As tonnes of questions. sorry you are here, but you have come to a good place

has your gp refered you to a neurologyst ??
