now to say hello to my pillows 2 nitrazpam and if i wake in hell ill let you all know how injection went(it would be heavan if i got a3 hour kip)but hopeflly you wont hear from me for at least 12 hours.thanks for all your support over the last two days.good luck too you all.ZZZzzzzzz

its going allright !inje works (down to 30 minit attacks)
but ch seems to have tripled his appearance!
also on between 4/10 5mg nitraz\pm a day(i think)very cofusing drug that one/....am i coming or going i dont know? good luck buddy

sorry i mean 10 mins max not 30

Yorky the injections aren't working if you're still getting 30 minute attacks hon, thats a bit worrying. As is you saying that your attacks have increased.
Can you give the OUCH UK helpline a ring for some more advice on 0161 2721702 and put my mind at rest please?

beleive me injections are workin.
but had 1 a hour ago and shadow is rebuilding is littleself already seems you cant do right for doing wrong .....but better the devil you do/than better the devil you dont .

Yorky Imigran does have the shortest half life of all the triptans, only up to 2 hours. The only up to it is how fast working it is and that is due solely to the method of delivery.
Ask your doc about Frovatriptan, its a pill so its about as much use as a chocolate fireguard as an abortive but it is very good as a preventative. If you can take it 2 hours before and expected hit or two hours before bed you are pretty much guaranteed a PF night as Frova has a half life of up to 26 hours. You can take two doses within 24 hours same as all the other triptans and its the easiest to come off again as you should leave 24 hours between using different types of triptans.
It can start to bite you on the bum if you use it too many days in a row but used a couple of times a week to guarantee a nights sleep or to get you through a day it can be very effective.
Always good to have options!
