Title: lost friend Post by 7punt on Jul 6th, 2006, 12:59am I have suffered with clusters for about4 years. I had never heard of them until I started getting them. I thought I had detatched my retna or some other damage to my left eye. Since I cant see well out of that eye, I assumed that was part of the problem. The doctors told me I had cluster headaches. I read this web sight at the time. Soon after that someone was hired, where I work, who also suffered from clusters. He was one of the only people who I knew who could Identify with what I was going through. Until two weeks ago he had been without the clusters. That week he told me he was starting to get pressure and feel out of sorts. He was hpoing that wasn't what it was but we both knew better. Last week our work place was closed for repairs. When I returned to work I learned that Andy had passed away. He lost control of his truck and hit a utility pole. He was in a coma until saturday when they pulled the plug. I was told that he might have lost conciousness at the wheel. There is to be a funeral saturday. I just needed someone to talk to about this. Thanks |

Title: Re: lost friend Post by LeLimey on Jul 6th, 2006, 6:35am My deepest sympathies on the loss of your friend, thats tragic. I wish there was something more I could do or say to help you there. I can help you with CH though as can the rest of the family here so, when you are ready, tell us more about how it affects you, hit length, cycle length, meds etc and lets see if we can't do something to help you. I am pretty new here too, but I have found that everyone here is ready, willing and able to help. It really does help getting through to have people to talk to or if you just need to vent. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |

Title: Re: lost friend Post by Kris_in_SJ on Jul 6th, 2006, 4:18pm My very deepest sympathies on the loss of your friend. Losses like this are devastating at any time, but the fact that the two of you understood each other so well, make it doubly hard. The family is here, and we're with you. Hugs, Kris |

Title: Re: lost friend Post by toonzboss on Jul 16th, 2006, 1:54am Hey 7 very sorry about that and even though I'm a Newbie as well I definitely feel that there are alot of friends here to listen and help in any way possible. I myself have had a couple of close calls on the freeway with ch, I have been very fortunate for the past 5 or 6 years to have virtually no commute to work. I do believe you can get some answers here and some relief. Take it easy. |
