Title: back in to hospital again
Post by Jason_Taylor on May 23rd, 2006, 12:22pm
Hello again, just spent 10 days in hospital again had a bad attack, I have been told that I am the worst sufferer in the area where I live, been used as research fodder, my scans are being used at a big doctors conference in Plymouth, doctor was amazed at whathe found and at first thought I had a tumour. Haven't slept for two weeks, feel like a zombie, and shaking from my lithium treatment, hoping the lithium is going to work I really don't want to go on Methysergide. The doctors have been great at the hospital managed to have a really good consultant deal with me. I still had to explain a few things they were very patient and understanding and were willing to help me and they took time to search on the net for info on my condition. The worst thing about CH is it depresses me and makes me feel useless. My wife is due to have our fourth child in 3 weeks time and it kills me that I can't help her as much as I want to, but thanks to having a fantastic father he has been marvellous and really helped us with school runs etc. The one thing I wish is I could talk to somebody face to face about this condition who really and truly understands my pain. But i guess i'll have to be patient until I find someone who suffers. Before I finish I thank my wife who does understand me and helps me as best as she can.
From Jason.

Sorry you are having a bad time, but I have to ask why you were in the hospital for 10 days for a ch attack?

And what exactly did they find in your scans?  If it wasn't a tumor, what was it?

Just curious,
Tracey
