Title: Perfect Season ? Post by zwibbs/Scott on Dec 29th, 2007, 7:58am Only the Giants ( from New York ) can put a stop to it. The Giants have been weak, but they're starting to jell at the right time. This game was only going to be on the NFL Network ( whatever the hell that is ) but because the Patriots have a chance to make history they have moved the game to national television. Tonight !!! |

All the talking heads say its an easy blow out for the Pats. I say nothing of this sort is ever a sure bet! If the Giants take it, they fuckin earned it! |

Title: Re: Perfect Season ? Post by zwibbs/Scott on Dec 30th, 2007, 6:13am It appeared that no body in the Giants secondary was covering Randy Moss. Great teams know how to win any and all games---The Patriots are great. |

Title: Re: Perfect Season ? Post by DennisM1045 on Dec 30th, 2007, 9:33am We'll see you in three weeks KJ. I'm so looking forward to it. Should be a great game and likely will be this years Superbowl. Sorry NFC. Somebody in the Giants secondary pulled up lame in the first Brady-Moss attempt. That's why they went right back to the same call. It's also not the first time this season Brady-Moss were successful with a do-over TD pass. The Giants shoudl have been looking for it. Amazing combination. I really wish Randy hadn't dismissed Jerry Rice during his post-game comments in his delight at shutting up the critics. They still haven't won anything yet. Randy needs to remember that. How can anyone talk about an asterisk when this whole season was won without sidline taping from the field? They violated a rule, paid a heavy fine and used it as motivation instead of crying about it. No one can take away this accomplishment or the three previous Superbowl wins. Its all just sour grapes and jealousy. No body like a winner - except the loyal fans that have watched and waited all these years for some success. Remember, we're Red Sox fans up here in NE. We're used to waiting for things to come around. This year is going to go down as the best New England has ever seen. I lived through the Superbowl loss to the bears in 85 and the World Series loss to the Mets in 86. The last few years have gone a long way towards making those losses less painful. It all comes in cycles. A wise person once said: on 09/04/07 at 13:15:19, DennisM1045 wrote:
