Title: SEE-SAWING... Post by Langa on Dec 26th, 2007, 9:22am So Gordo and I went out last night and decided to go across the street to the park. We decided we'd go on the swing or sit on the bench, talk, whatever...dinner was over, guests were gone, and we wanted to take a walk. However, he had the brilliant idea of us going on the see-saw. I fought him hard at first. You know didn't want to ruin the cute outfit and boots and all, but I did get on the darn thing to please him, plus it was late and no one around. Well, I had a ball. I was laughing so hard, my stomach hurt. He was laughing so hard he was in tears. Of course, after a while I was starting to hurt and he was hurting too...i'm sure you know where. Then we forgot how to get off. So we're both in mid-air trying to remember how to get off - two idiots... :-/ We both decided to just jump off at the same time...huge mistake - I landed on my butt with one leg still on the see-saw and Gordo landed facedown. I crawled over to make sure he was ok - he was laughing. I was not. As we gently limped back to the house, we remembered how much fun we had as kids and how the hell we got through it. We were also harshly reminded that we're getting old. LOL Hope this brings someone a laugh. (Oh and yes, we figured out afterwards how it was done...duh). Love, Langa |

Title: Re: SEE-SAWING... Post by nani on Dec 26th, 2007, 12:39pm Oh how fun!!! :D I can picture it, too. Sometimes the best thing we can do is let go of our adult sense of propriety and just do something kid-like. Good for you! Bob and I would probably break it. ;) lots of love, nani |
