This is nuts.  I woke up around midnight to see 'severe thunderstorm warnings' posted on TV.  It was 58 degrees and raining.  

I got up at 5:00 am to start some baking.....BANG, out goes the power (for the next 7 hours).  Kinda put me behind schedule... >:(

It's now 20 degrees....windchill at 2 with winds gusting up to 50mph...It's snowing and we're under a wind advisory    >:(

What's up with all this crazy weather?

It's crazy here too, Jackie.

We just got back from visiting my family in "Slower"/Southern Delaware.

It was chilly yesterday, rain started last night but it was mild then the wind shifted and it was cold.  Rain turned to a light drizzle, winds shifted and we had unbelievable downpours when we headed north to come home this afternoon.

Cold one minute, almost balmy the next.  Strange indeed.

I just went out on the deck, we've got a balmy 58º here...  The last snow is long gone...

I just checked the Wx Underground...  Nada...  Santa's gonna need some serious rollers on his sled around here this year...

At least the Redskins are taking it to the Vikings

It rained like hell last night from about midnight to 1 am. The wind was blowing from the south, really hard. Then it stopped raining, and the temp dropped from 50 to 32 in 45 minutes.

Woke up this morning, temp was 16, windchill was 3. Funny thing, the weather channel had a high wind advisory until 3 pm, but the forecast is for high winds, with gusts up to 50 mph until tomorrow. Still blowing.

Went to Bloomington today, had to keep the steering wheel to the right, just to keep from getting blown off the road on the way back. Wind was behind us to Bloomington. Power went off in Best Buy, and they kicked all the customers outside (awfully nice of them, considering the balmy weather we're having) except the ones in the check out lanes. Until the power came back on.

At least it's not snowing. Yet.

Snowing here, off and on.  Quite a lot in the mountains, not so much here in the valley--maybe 4-5 inches.  Just a tad below freezing.

Sounds like most of the weirdness is to the east of us.

7 degrees here with 50 mph winds blowing.  Light snow.  My parents 2 hours away got 18 inches of snow.  It just missed us and we got hard freezing rain from 6pm yesterday until noon today.  Church got canceled tonight because the roads are icy and it is just to cold for anyone to venture out with the windchill.

29 degrees this morning when we got up, heavy frost.  Need at least a week of this, so my damned allergies will settle down.  Cold enough that the cats run to the door, look outside and run back in the house.

Didn't realize you lived so close.  Still brrrr cold out there, but at least you can now go outside without fear of being blown away.

Still heavenly with 4 inches of snow, 25 degrees and some nice gusts to keep people moving fast in the mall parking lots looking for their cars.
