Title: LMAO!!
Post by Jonny on Dec 18th, 2007, 7:41pm
A grade school teacher in upstate New York asked her class how
many of them   are 'Hillary fans'.

Not really knowing what a Hillary fan is, but wanting to be
liked by the   teacher, all the kids raised their hands except one boy.

The teacher asked Jonny why he has decided to be different. Jonny
says,   'I'm not a Hillary fan.'

The teacher says, 'Why aren't you a Hillary fan?'

Jonny says, 'I'm a George Bush fan.'

The teacher asks why he's a George Bush fan.

The boy says, 'Well, my mom's a George Bush fan and my dad's a
George Bush   fan, so I'm a George Bush fan!'

The teacher asks, 'If your mom was a moron and your dad was
an idiot, what   would that make you?'

So Jonny replies, 'That would make me a Hillary fan.

Is this an American president?

I feel sorry for Huckabee though. Aside from his tiring reminder that he likes God & Co..he seems a decent guy but with that name.....President Huckabee.... ::)

Sad times when being religious is a character flaw.

Its only the liberal media that make it an issue. Who do you think asks the questions?

Even sadder when being religious is considered a major qualifying point in elections rather than competence.

I remember when it was a big point back with JFK - stupid then - stupid now.

Like in 1960 - a lot of airtime is being wasted on NOTHING and we're not hearing anything we need to hear. LIke "What the hell are you going to do to improve the situation in THIS country IF you become President?"

PS  Have you heard the latest on Edwards -- seems they're dragging up some woman who says he's the father of her child. Just what we needed - another scandal!!!!

Hugs BD

True. I've seen JFK's speech in Houston several times this year to the stuffiest buch of preachers he could muster to answer the ridiculous Catholic question. It was wonderful. Back then adults were running things and the audience was a least civil. The gist of the speech was he wouldn't listen to a thing the Pope said when it came to us and that his beliefs would have nothing to do with his governing. He also made it a big point that the strict separation of church and state was one of the most important facets of our system.

Wouldn't it be nice..........Sigh.

Yep, sad indeed, especially since our society was originally based on Christianity. Of course issues are important too.  :o
