How much does 1 gallon of whole milk cost in your neck of the woods?

$3.29 per gallon in Western Pa.

I paid on Friday at Wally World $2.99 a gallon for each skim and 2%.  A few weeks ago, it was closer to $3.50 a gallon.  This was on central IL.

$3.19 yesterday for 1% .  Don't know what whole milk was,  but most likely $3.39, since it's usually 20 cents more.

I guess the "inflation rate" is supposed to be around 3 percent.  Maybe if you're talking about BMW's and diamond tiaras....

I don't know about you, but the stuff I actually spend money on--gasoline, food, health insurance, and so forth--has gone up one hell of a lot more than 3 percent in the past year.  I think the "inflation rate" is a bogus, "feel good" number that the plutocrats throw out there to keep the yokels fat, dumb, and happy.

Sorry for the hijack.   :-X

Best,

George

Depending on where I buy, anywhere from $2.99 to $3.29 a gallon here in central WI.  We go through about 4-5 gallons a week. (just thought I'd throw that in there ;;D)

When Wal Mart opened Sept. 19, 2007 in our town, our 1% dropped from $5.19 to $3.97 for a 4 litre bag.
Beers cheaper! ;;D
