the kids and I this evening.  I got this beautiful cake platter from our neighbor for Christmas and I think the the tree looks quite nice on it. :)

That's really nice Mel!.   The little gifts are cute :)  but they're leaking green ooze.  What did you wrap up?

Mel, that is lovely! :) Wow... How did you make that star?

I wish that when I was a kid we would have done Christmas trees instead of gingerbread houses, which took away mom's patience... ;;D It's not fun, when you can't get the pieces to stick together, although you're made the sugary thing which is supposed to glue them by the book.

Helsingin Sanomat, a daily newspaper, arranged a gingerbread competition. You can find the gingerbread works of art right here. Click "seuraava kuva" when you want to see the next pic. I must warn you; there are LOTS of them! ;) And some are incredible.
