Obviously this is the time of year when a bunch of us around the US, and even around the world maybe, are getting hit with snow and ice storms and here in my part of Michigan we finally got our first one. As a result Church was canceled today as well as a birthday party for my daughters' friend...they were both really bummed as you can just imagine! But safety comes first which is the point of my post!

I just want everyone to know that with all the crappy weather happening everywhere...and the lovely weather for the lucky ones ;)...I hope and pray that all is safe and careful with whatever you need to do!

My kids and I baked cookies today and got to build our first snowman of the season so we had fun today despite the weather and I hope you all get to have fun and be safe and happy and PAIN FREE in all you do!!

Thank you Tess! I'm so glad to hear that you and your children found something nice to do anyway. :)

Back in here, snow is just a dream for now, because the snow we had few weeks ago melted away. But the roads are slippery and icey, so being careful is the wise way to go.
