My dad is an orkin man, and he said that bed bugs are a HUGE problem in hotels right now. If you unknowingly take them home with you - it's gonna cost you atleast 500$ to get rid of them.. ... so always check your mattress at hotels... seriouslY!!! My dad is in Iowa - but when i came back home (illinois) and asked my neighbor (who owns a pest control company) - he said it's a "WICKED" problem right now here too... k - that's my public service announcement for today... Post by cootie on Dec 17th, 2007, 1:00pm I used to love hotel stays but not so much anymore.....I have woke up with my eyes swelled shut cuz of SUMTHING they use to treat sheets and stuff verses wash them I'm sure....it's happen'd to often to not be the cause. I get a stuffy nose too real bad. Last stay I took a blanket to lay on over the sheets and did ok but still got the stuffy nose. The one lady told me they spray rooms heavily that had smokers in them to turn them into a NON smokeing room and get rid of that peutrid stench....but I'm not sure which is worse. Creepystays Pam |

That is absolutely disgusting, gross, and unsanitary. I'll never drink out of a glass like that in a hotel again, except in the bar. I always wondered why I never saw replacement glasses on the maid's cart. [smiley=spit.gif] |
