Title: Proud Mama of Honor Roll Student!!

Hey All!

My son Joshua who is 10 yrs old and in the 4th grade special education class came home 2 days ago with his report card. A very good report card I might add...all A's and B' (mostlyA's lol)
Anyway...with my sons seizure and learning disability school has been a big challenge for us. We were excited to see his report card. He is in a new school this year and it is much better than the past years schools...meeting his needs better.

So today...to put the icing on the cake..."Mom, close your eye's"...he pulls out the HONOR ROLL certificate out of his backpack!! This is the first time he has ever made the honor roll! Talk about the tears in my eyes!! I couldnt contain myself..I needed to share this with you all...He is so excited and proud of himself and I of him tot!

This calls for celebration and a treat!...I need to go buy a new frame now!

Tess I don't know about tears in your eyes but mine are wet and my nose has that funny feeling in it too - I'm overjoyed for you both. That is just lovely wonderful perfect news to start a weekend with and I am so glad you shared a lovely moment like that with us too, the bad times are never so bad when we share ourgood times to make them better ((HUG))

I know how you feel... congratulations... his efforts are not going un noticed.... Tell him the world is proud of him... and kudos to the new school... I work in a c;ass fpr special needs students... and the classes are not all what you would expect... His teacher must be nurturing as well as smart.

Hi all!! Thanks so much for all of the awesome replys...you guys are wonderful! I read and showed Josh the replys and he loved them and was so excited...(plus I think his head might be a bit big now...lol)

Anyway...I did not think of this until Ray suggested it to me and I hope it works...but here is a pictuer of my handsome honor student and his beautiful sister Elizabeth!
