Title: cute cuddley & foamy Post by cootie on Dec 5th, 2007, 1:19pm Nothin cuter then a cute cuddly kitty.......my one young kitty 'Lucy' I had rescued at 4 weeks is such a pretty cat.....she looks like a grey/white football with legs now that she's an adult. She follows me everywhere and watches me do everything. Today she HELPED me try and insert my small thin neat 'pencil xmas tree' into a cool URN useing spray crack & crevice foam to make it stay in place and permanent. The little trees look so cool in the urns and expensive to buy that way. Can keep it up year round like a neat fake tree this way. Lucy is so cute and FOAMY now that she decided to JUMP IN the urn when I got it full and done to set up !!!! She's been good letting me try and wash it off and CUT IT OUT as it dries with just sum mild growing. She doesn't meow.....she chirps like a chetah wildcat. Arghhhh......what a mess......what a suprise for both of us. Should I change her name to LUMPY LUCY Pam Jus thought I'd share this lill christmas kitty story......I'm still workin on snippin off the chunks but luckily only one leg and part of a belly got coated and I was FAST acting to try and get it off but it will take a while for the rest cuz she's gettin cranky with me tryin !! Title: Re: cute cuddley & foamy Post by cootie on Dec 6th, 2007, 1:19pm Yeah thought suma ya mite get a snicker outa the story and we can all use a laugh once in a while ech ? But um.....does anyone know how to get that stuff OFF things......like cat fur ?? I been cutting chunks off when she will let me. Found out it won't come off clothes tho. And that dam shit DOES expand 5 HOURS LATER.....it got bigger and bigger in the urn around the tree till I thought it was setup and made a slit in it to cut off that HUGE DOUGHNUT. Opps....did not setup at all inside and was GOOEY.....stuff started to oze out the area I made a cut in and later that grew into a dog sized GLOB. I started to get worried cuz it grew and grew all nite long !!! Then today I thought it setup enuff to cut that huge area off that expanded about 6 inches above the planter rim.....and found out that stuff never did setup inside. So if you have foam insulation sprayed into your home how do you know IT SET UP and ya got what ya paid for ?? This stuff is just the small can version. NONE setup inside....if ya touch'd it the taffy mixture disolved ? So now I am back to square one with a bit of a mess started. So I added a bit more around the CREVICE area around the tree inside that did not setup.....not alot and didn't pack in as much. If this don't setup I am definetly goin to rule out EVER gettin this stuff used as house insulation. Gooey globby taffy tree Pam Oh my Kev......that could be one good SICK joke addin a little of this FOAM........sumone could just SNIP it off if they had to. 8) |
