That I'm gettin' older and forget little things.....

Like it's gonna freeze last night and my darlin' son "forgot" to "insulate" the well pump (again) and, well, ya gotta leave a faucet dripping if ya want water in the morning......

So here it is almost noon and I've just now got water... Been a LONG morning. Luckily I DID remember to make coffee before I went to bed or you'd have had one grouchy Granny this morning.....

Oh well, I've got Post-It notes all over the house NOW! Not gonna happen to me again! Now I'm off to take a shower (aren't you glad [smiley=huh.gif]).

Why not just leave it insulated year-round?

Oh, the trials and tribulations of living where EVERYTHING DOESN'T FREEZE SOLID ABOUT NINE MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR! ;)

yeah mine were insulated until the kitty found funny to sharp his nails with the insulating tube [smiley=laugh.gif], my husband found it like stripes last night when he went to check [smiley=laugh.gif]

Well, Brew, it's a guy thing... my "darlin'" son just doesn't "get a round tuit" till it gets to be an emergency and then "mom" is supposed to "handle" it. He's only had about a year to get this done, but...... oh well, mom will leave a faucet dripping on cold nights from now on - saves a lot of yelling. After all he's only pushing 40 - I'll get the little tyke raised one of these days. ;;D

It was so cold out at my place this morning when I went out to get the newspaper my bare feet got chilled...a little bit. ;;D

Guiseppi..........whose blood is too thin to EVER leave San Diego!!!!
