Title: Charlie Brown
Post by cynjeep89 on Nov 27th, 2007, 8:35pm
Okay, time to confess.

How many of us are watching "A Charlie Brown Christmas tonight"?

Always a kid at heart, I guess and hope I never get too old to enjoy it.

Now that brings back happy memories.  It was on the "must see" list every year when my kids were little.  Now it's my kids watching it with their kids.

I'm watching it.  My boyfriend just said he'll give me the DVD for my birthday so then I will have it to watch every year.  Funny....

When I was in high school, my group of friends made a list of which of us matched which Peanuts character, and they said I was like Sally.  Too true in many ways....the innocence, naivity, etc.  ha!

Love this movie!!

Carrie :)

It's on right now, but Eli's in the bathroom...  We have the movie, so it gets played in the summertime too.

Makes nice backround noise when decorating.

For background noise during the tree decorating I like Alvin and The Chipmunks. [smiley=laugh.gif]

That poor album looks more like a very abused frisbee.

For those of you who like the music of the Charlie Brown Christmas, you can get the CD on Amazon.com or download the Vince Guaraldi Trio's music from Itunes or Amazon.

It's a lovely jazz album that brings back fine memories of childhood.

I bought the singing dancing guy at Wallys and I had the smaller one liberated from Albertsons.

Charlie Brown Christmas is about the best thing ever on TV. The Halloween one is as good. These things are more than forty years old and I see them every year. I was 20 or so when they first aired.  :o

When I owned a Yamaha Disklavier (player piano) the only two things it played consistently were Mozart and the Charlie Brown album (Vince Guaraldi).  There is nothing cooler than the sounds of the Charlie Brown song playing on a real piano.  Must have played it 1000 times, easy.

Aww you don't own it anymore?  I remember recording my playing (badly!) on a disklavier to send to you!  That was fun! :)

Nope, I haven't seen it. Or any other movie mentioned at this thread... Whoops. But I do love White Christmas! I watch it every year - I have the DVD.... ;;D It gets me nicely in the Christmas mood. I have watched it during the summer time few times, too... [smiley=laugh.gif]
