Title: my ch links frustration Post by sandie99 on Nov 27th, 2007, 12:51pm I told you a while ago that I wrote to the Finland's Migraine Assosiation, the organization in which us Finnish clusterheads are part of, and asked if they could add this website and OUCH to their links section. I got an instant reply in which the lady who manages the organization promised that the international links would be added shortly. Well, I'm STILL WAITING. The website has been updated on several occasions, but no, those links have not yet been added. >:( I am aware that it takes a lot to keep a website alive, but come on, I have made 2 very simple sites myself and it should NOT take more than 2 minutes to add those links to already excisting site. Or am I mistaken, computer experts? Maybe it's the time to remind the lady about those links. She can tell the webmaster to hurry... Sanna |

Title: Re: my ch links frustration Post by Karla on Nov 27th, 2007, 3:20pm Some people/organizations may be relunctant to link to this site due to the content on it. Yes it is very helpful to us and essential to get through life for me. However, it contains fights, swearing, links to sites that contain non related and some offensive material. I put a filter on my computer a few years ago and was not able to log onto ch.com due to its profanity etc. I had to remove the filter. I love this home to death but facts are facts. Now OUCH on the other hand is very professional etc and I have no idea why they have not linked up to that site yet. Shame on them. |

The physical act of adding two links to a page and uploading shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Getting approval to do so may be another thing entirely. If the organization has to approve the addition it may take forever. If they got busy, it may have just slipped her mind. Been there - done that. Drop her a polite reminder and give it a few days. Title: Re: my ch links frustration Post by sandie99 on Nov 28th, 2007, 11:07am I didn't even think that approval would be needed - the lady who replied is the one in charge... Well, never know. Thanks for the replies! :) Let's hope for the best, Sanna |
