Thank you Annette for all the help, advice, and comfort that you have provided my family during our time of need. As my fathers condition worsens the calls to my mother to help ease her mind and explain the changing condition of my fathers illness, and the time spent talking to my father about what is happening has brought more comfort than can be expressed. Your advice on his meds was spot on and the Dr he has now has agreed and removed him from some meds and adjusted the amount on the others which has improved the quality of the time he has remaining. Your experience and knowledge is only surpassed by your caring heart. From my family to you........We love you and appreciate you.

You always have a way of lifting my spirits, you make the effort despite your busy schedule to make a difference. I'm honored to know you and look forward to reading your pearls of advice for many years to come. When you come to the states you and your family have a place to be in Pennsylvania.

Matt, your dad is a wonderful man and I care a lot about him. From the first time we spoke I have this soft spot for him. We were talking about his time in Vietnam and he was telling me about his experience there as a young soldier. It was so very special to hear about my country from someone who was fighting for my freedom from the Communists, even before I was born. When he told me that he thought Vietnamese people were one of the most beautiful people he had come across I broke down crying and we formed a special bond ever since.

I'll only add to what others have said to express my gratitude to Annette for her sage advice that has helped my brothers and me to understand my mother's current health problems, and put them in perspective.

It's helped us to make what I believe are the right decisions that balance my Mom's need for independence with her need for for a little assistance in her daily life.

We'll get by.

Just a small and inadequate thanks for help sent from a friend.

George, I am priviledged to be told about your mother and to be able to share some thoughts and to send prayers and vibes. Your mum is a very special lady and I would love to see her getting well enough so that she can zip around like her old self again :)
