First of all a big thanks to all who have taken the time to reply to my first post. The appointment with my neuro went really well, we both agreed that the current treatment is not working and after a long talk about the O2 he said it was not possible to have it at home due to the fact¨"It would not be the 100%" I would need, so how do you guys get it?. I am currentley coming off the Depakin, in order to start on Lithium (am a bit worried about that). Have those of you who have taken it or are taking it, sufferd with side effects, and if so how badly?. What can I expect? I realise we all react differently and what is good for one might be bad for someone else, but so far I only have your experiences to go by, sure I have read the info but a lot of you will have been there.
One of the tips I have found very good was the redbull high caffine drink, if taken early enough, I can usely tolerate the pain with out having to inject. As I live in spain there is not one speclist center my neuro was extremley intrested in the info Gator (Mike) pointed out to me all though I spent 2 days translating it into Spanish for him, so who knows you guys could be helping non English speaking sufferers as you sit down to you thanks giviing dinners.

There has been some work with translating OUCH-US.org into Spanish. Seems you are fluent in both languages, so you may want to contact Peppermint to see if she has any good documents about O2 already translated. Might help you get what you need?

You can always taper off the Lithium if its not for you. I took it everyday for 14 years and had no problems with it.

Its hard to believe you cant get 100% 02.....try welding 02, it HAS to be 100% or its useless.

What? [smiley=huh.gif] [smiley=huh.gif] Doesn't sound like your Neuro knows a whole heck of a lot about medical 02. And as Jonny has said, welders 02 has to be 100% or it doesn't work.

ive been taking 900 mg a day of lithium and noticed a big difference in severity.
