A study published Nov 13, 2007 in  "Headache - The Journal of Head and Face Pain," entitled "An Analysis of Cluster Headache Information Provided on Internet Websites" evaluated the quality of websites providing information on cluster headache to patients and doctors.  While we can't post the full text of the article here, due to copyright issues, we are proud to report that the OUCH-US website was ranked as the overall number one website for providing cluster headache information to patients and doctors.

An idea: Ask your doc to print it for you. He probably subscribes, and you subsidize his subscription.

The OUCH website is the product of the combined efforts of many people.  Those who came before me passed on a very good base with which to work and lots of people helped along the way.  

This is a real feather in OUCH's cap, but we still have work to do and every one of you can be a part of it.  

  • Part of how search engines rank websites is by how many other websites link to them.  I would like to ask everyone here with any kind of web presence to place a link to the OUCH website on one of their pages.

  • Any website is only as good as the information it provides.  I would ask that when surfing the net doing research on CH, if you find something you think would be beneficial, please send a link to webmaster@ouch-us.org.

  • Hundreds of eyes are more effective than just two.  If you find dead links or errors on the OUCH website, please let me know.  


On behalf of everyone who has contributed to the OUCH website, I thank you for the compliments and kind words.

i tried to tell someone today how to get here and entering ouch in search window wasnt very effective. whats the best keywords to use in search windows?

Seems pretty effective to me.  Using Google and typing ouch in the search bar, OUCH-US.org (http://www.ouch-us.org/index.shtml) is the first result.

The lowest we've been ranked for months on Google using this search term is #3.
